Monday 13th July
We had been up in the night as Chris had set some mouse traps and we caught a mouse about 3.30am. Poor little thing.....I don't like killing anything but we can't have them in the house.
The roofers arrived as usual today even though many would have taken the day off as tomorrow is Bastille Day and is a French bank holiday.
We had been invited to stay over at our friends Bob and Val's so we left for their place mid afternoon. We reacquainted ourselves with their animals....
Do you remember the baby lamb I got to cuddle last time? Well his name is Shaun and this is him now....isn't he handsome?!
Bob reassured me that he won't end up in the freezer. No he's going to have a couple of lady friends.
Turkeys (for Christmas)...shhh....aww don't tell them!
In the evening we went to a Chinese Buffet restaurant and then to a fantastic fireworks display in Lannion
It was a long wait for the display which didn't start until 11.30pm but it made for some interesting people watching and it was great to soak up the atmosphere with Breton live music playing.
Thanks for visiting!
